HOSTEL RECEPTIONIST TRAINEE
Placement in Portugal
Check customers in and out of the hostel
Use the reservation system to create new reservations, manage the online bookings, solve overbookings, assign the clients to the rooms and beds
Provide information and support to customers about the Hostel and the city
Respond to complaints and suggestions, identifying customer needs and expectations and ensuring their resolution or transmission to your supervisor
Ensure the preservation and maintenance of the reception, the replacement of the material used and the cleaning and hygiene of the place
Collaborate in the definition of the objectives and rules of operation of the reception service and in the implementation of programs to promote the Hostel
Sell the products and activities the Hostel has to offer to the customers
Answer the phone and e-mails
Update the Social Media of the Hostel (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
Make the beds and help to prepare the Hostel for the new customers
We are a Portuguese start-up organisation, established in 2012 and based in Lisbon.
Our mission is to use our international trainee programme to help international graduates and young professionals who are looking for international jobs to find an internship in Portugal, which matches their skills, education and preferences. Our wide network of contacts has enabled us to develop an extensive database of available internships in both Portuguese and international companies specialized in various fields.
We also offer extra services to accepted interns prior to, and throughout their internship period, aiming at the best experience for all parties involved. These services include support with bureaucratic issues (such as the signing of Traineeship Agreements) and assistance with relocation to Portugal (e.g. finding accommodation, Portuguese language courses, etc.).
